CVW 14 that consists of VFA 115 (F/A-18E), VFA 22 (F/A-18F), VFA 25, VFA 113 (F/A-18C[N]), VAW 113 (E-2C NP), VAQ 139 (EA-6B), VRC 30 Det. 1 (C-2A) and HS 4 (SH-60F, HH-60H) is conducting air-supports for Operation Enduring Freedom.

  • City of Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti (Jul. 24, 2009) - Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) 2nd antipiracy maritime force that consists of JS Harusame (DD 102), JS Amagiri (DD 152), JCG officers and other units arrived in City of Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti and took over the antipiracy operation from 1st antipairacy maritime force Jul. 24.

    * 2nd AMF bagan its 1st escort mission Jul. 29 in the Gulf of Aden.
